Pastor Jeanette shares an encouraging word of God to reflect on for this month of April 2026. Every month she will share prayers to uplift, inspire, motivate, and encourage those who need it to hold on.

Mark 11:24

"The word of God therefore I say unto you, what things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them."

God bless you all!

Dear Family,

As often as we've heard it, sometimes we need the simple reminder that God is abounding in grace. It's sufficient for our slips as we walk this narrow path. He provides it every day in advance. Your day has been insured, paid for with precious blood that never loses its power against sin. That blood overcame death and paid the price for all sin. That means the sins of Adam all the way down to generations after us. It covered the bill of a fallen humanity. How great is that cost? Have faith that it is enough to cover the bill for you and your children's children.

Lamentations 3:22-23

"22 It is of The LORD's mercies that we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. 23 They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness."

So how do we use this grace? It's costly, and yet, we'll never see the bill. We give thanks, dear family. We sing praises to our Father, who loves us despite our inability to be perfect. He loves us enough to pay attention to the smallest details of our lives. He's interested in us. Selflessly, lovingly, and unconditionally interested in our well beings. So, we use the grace by admitting that we're imperfect and in need of His help, and directing our attention back to the heart of our King when we fall. Don't focus on the sin, focus on the man who overcame it and who knew you would stumble, but still chose you. Focus on that pure love and live for the man who died for you. Do His good works knowing that they'll never cancel your debt, but will please Him. Put on that full armor of God and march on, soldier.

1 Corinthians 15:55-57

"55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? 56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. 57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ."

But what do we do once we've fallen? Rise up. God didn't send Jesus for you to stop sinning. He sent Him because He knew you couldn't. He doesn't need you to be perfect, He needs you to be submitted. To be obedient. To care about the things of our Heavenly Father and to be on mission for the Kingdom in this life. We pray, we give, we fast, we serve, we love for the Kingdom, so that it can manifest on this Earth through us as willing vessels. Don't lose sight of the mission.

Proverbs 24:16

"For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief."

Use, but don't abuse the grace. Give grace to yourself as well and remember that we are but dust, trying our best to be good stewards of what the Father has entrusted us with.

Psalm 103:14

"For He knoweth our frame; He remembereth that we are dust."

Love you family,

Be blessed,

Your sister in Christ,

Pastor Jeanette.
